Carmella L. Heber of Garfield, New Jersey, peacefully entered the Throne of Grace on December 30, 2011. "Mella," as she was affectionately called by her family, was born on October 20, 1958, the daughter of Emily Marie (Satchell) Glover and the late Robert Lee Glover. Before moving to Garfield in 1997, she was a long life resident of Paterson. Carmella attended Paterson Public schools and was a proud graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 1976. She then went on to graduate from the business program at Essex County Community College. Carmella was a talented seamstress and could hold her own with any big name fashion designer. She was known for making beautiful prom dresses and suits. As a matter of fact, she designed and made her own wedding gown and all the dresses for the entire bridal party. When Mella baked her cookies, German chocolate cakes and red velvet cakes, they were made with pure love. Carmella worked as a Fraud Analyst for AT&T for several years. Prior to that, she worked for Metro Call. Carmella is survived by her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of thirty years, David Heber; two sons, Solomon Heber and Jeremy Heber; one daughter, Carmella Nuttroy; mother, Emily Marie Glover; two brothers, Craig Glover (Christine) and Eric Glover (Dawn); three sisters, Victoria Glover, Pamela Glover-Sams, and Alyce Glover- Suber (Darryl); father-in-law, Dennis F. Heber, Sr.; mother-in-law, Herma "Marie" Heber; brothers-in-law, Phillip H. Ward (Mattie Lois), Dennis Heber, Jr., and Jonathon "Rick" Heber (Kathy); sisters-in-law, Marlene "Wendy" Bragg (Burney L. Adams), Lorna J. Perkins, Denise Nicholson (Michael); a dear and special friend Renee Johnson and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, co-workers and friends. If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, We'd walk right up to Heaven, and bring you home again. Sorrowfully submitted, The Family
