MILLERSBURG- Carol A. Straup, age 70, of 2215 Shippen Dam Road passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Millersburg, the daughter of the late Albert Koppenheffer and Mildred Fulkrod Koppenheffer who survives her of Millersburg. Carol was an employee of Libby Window treatments and a member of Hebron UM Church in Millersburg and past worthy matron of OES Glen Chapter #425 in Lykens. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband Robert P. Straup, two sons Cory and his fiance Jeanella Dunn of Speedwell, TN and Kent of Millersburg, two grandchildren Kayleigh and Colby of Pineville, KY, special daughter Donna Schwartz and her husband Craig of Chambersburg, special grandson Jason Schwartz and special granddaughter Stella Schwartz. Memorial services will be held on Thursday Sept. 15 at 11am at Hebron UM Church 347 Market St. in Millersburg. Visitation will be from 10-11 am on Thursday at the church. Donations can be made to her church or to Hospice of Central PA 1320 Linglestown Road Harrisburg, PA 17110. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg is handling arrangements.
