Carol Custer
Greenville, SC

Mrs. Carol Kistner Custer, 76, of 1 Columbia Circle, passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday, September 10, 2010.

Mrs. Custer was retired from Bob Jones University. She was a wise counsel for many ladies and a great help for her husband’s ministry. She often traveled with her husband, leading tours to the Holy Land. She was a longtime member of Trinity Bible Church in Greer where she taught Sunday School for many years and was active in the women’s ministries of the church.

She is survived by her husband, Stewart Custer, pastor emeritus of Trinity Bible Church of Greer; her son, Charles Steven Custer of Greenville; her sister, Phyllis Swartz, and her nephews and nieces, Mark Swartz, Delight Swartz, Denise Swartz and David Swartz.

Services will be at 11:30am Tuesday at Trinity Bible Church with Pastor Greg Mazak officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Monday at The Mackey Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials please be made to Trinity Bible Church Missionary Fund, 205 N. Suber Road, Greer, SC 29651.
