Carol Hales Fisher passed away on February 15, 2011 on what would have been her mother’s 100th birthday. She was born January 30, 1942 in Spanish Fork Utah to Nathan B. and Marion G. Hales. Carol married Lawrence J. Fisher on February 9, 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with five children David (Susan), Cindy Little (Kent), Michelle Ferre (Shawn), Michael (Elisa), and Alisa Kay Fisher who welcomed her home along with her parents. They also have 16 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a great friend to all she met. She had a heart of gold and served endlessly. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings in her ward and stake. Larry and Carol served a Mission to Santa Rosa California. She was an avid sports fan and loved supporting her children and grandchildren and BYU in all their pursuits. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and siblings: Charles Hales (Janet), Nancy Yeck, and Stephen Hales (Cynthia).
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 19, 2011 at 12pm at the Cottonwood Heights LDS 3rd Ward 6890 So. Whitmore Way (2225 East) with a viewing one hour prior to service. A Viewing be held Friday 6-8pm at Holladay Cottonwood Memorial, 4670 Highland Dr. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South in salt lake City.
