Carol J. Taylor of Mabelvale, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord Jesus on June 3, 2011.
She was a member of Tyndall Park Missionary Baptist Church of Benton. She was retired from the Purchasing Department of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she was a Buyer for several years.
Carol was born to James Lother and Goldie Beatrice Soden in Washington state on August 1, 1941.
She is survived by one sister sister Faye O’Neal of Bryant; One Brother “Dub” and his wife Lois Soden of Fayetteville; her children Rick and LaVonne Colwell of Mabelvale, Ricky and Joy Gray of Bella Vista, Don and Lynda Sisco of North Little Rock and Mark and Margie Sikes of Little Rock; her grandchildren Steve and Tina Jordan, Sgt. Scott and Amanda Gray, Aaron and Jessica Gray and Lucas Sikes; her great grandchildren Devon and Thurston Stock, Madison and Jackson Gray and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will remember her always.
Carol left his world while at her home surrounded by her children and is now resting in God’s arms.
Praised be the Lord!
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 7th, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Brother Phillip Miller will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Monday at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Highway 5 North, Alexander, AR (501)455-1067
