Carole F. Bray, 77, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on May 4, 1934 in Owensboro to the late Elgin and Mary Emma Bartlett. She retired from Omico Plastics. She enjoyed reading, watching old movies and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Robert E. Bray, on October 25, 1964 and by a brother, Robert Ray Tackett. She is survived by four sons, Robert E. Bray, Jr. of Owensboro, John Michael Bray of Burgin, KY, Gary Ray Bray (Carol) and Christopher Scott Bray (Lisa) both of Owensboro; three daughters, Sharon Bray Wynn (Michael) of Lake City, TN, Cheryl Diane Schindler (Dickie) and Brenda Bray Allen (Steve) both of Owensboro; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Services are private. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Gift Processing Center, 424 E 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128-6804.
