Caroline Toombs Stoker age 92, born September 24, 1918 passed away surrounded by her family on May 3, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Sandy. Caroline was born in Wells, Nevada to George T. Toombs and Flora Hardy Toombs. She graduated from Wells High School and then continued on to Stevens Henegar College in Salt Lake City. While working at Whitmore Oxygen she met Elbert G. Stoker and they were married for 55 years. Our dearest and caring Mother and Grandmother loved to laugh and play games. She always had a laugh and smile for everyone. Her hobbies and interests were bowling, bridge, knitting, baking, canning, and going for car rides and her family gatherings. One of the biggest joys in her life was having her grandkids over to make cookies and have a sleep over. She will be missed greatly by all of her family, friends and Sunrise family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Bringhurst Jex and Cheryl Guiver (Larry), seven Grandchildren, sixteen Great Grandchildren and eight Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Earl Toombs, her husband, Eb and her son-in-law Larry Jex.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday May 7th, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, 3115 E. 7800 S., SLC, Utah, followed by graveside services.
