Carolyn Elaine Rivers, 65, of the 500 block of Hillshire Way, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away March 16, 2011, in a local hospital. A native of Rahway, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gladys Knich. She was a member of Wave Church and a major part of the choir. She was also a member of the South Beach Chicks. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Rivers; two daughters, Sandy Williams and Amelia Williams; two sons, Tay Williams and Andy Williams; and two grandchildren, Nicholas Williams and Bryanna Williams. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wave Church with Pastor Clayton Ritter officiating. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel is handling the arrangements.
