Carolyn Wilkins Hobson, 68 of Searcy, went to be with the Lord Jesus, June 1, 2012. She was the daughter of H.E. and Mae Wilkins. She was preceded in death by her father H.E. Wilkins Sr., step-daughter Joann Lagerstrom and grandson Bobby Hobson. Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Hobson of Searcy, her son Jerry M. Hobson and daughter-in-law Sandra of Atlanta, GA, her mother Mae Wilkins of Searcy, two brothers, James C. Wilkins and wife Nancy of Littleton, CO., Henry Wilkins and wife Kay of Batesville, and one sister Debbie Cato and husband Laymon of Searcy, Stepson, Johnny Impson of Oklahoma City, Connie Sharpe of Salinas, CA, and Denise Juarez of Atascadero, CA. She was a beloved grandmother to seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly. Carolyn attended Ouachita Baptist College in Arkadelphia. She worked 28 years in the field of Medical Transcription, retiring from White Co. Medical Center. She served as a past Regional President of the Ladies Auxiliary, along with her husband in the Fleet Reserve Association, and was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Searcy. Services will be held Monday, June 4th 10 a.m. at First General Baptist of Searcy. Memorials can be made to First General Baptist of Searcy.
