Our beloved Carrie passed away on October 22, 2011 after a valiant battle against breast cancer that began in June of 2010. She is survived by her sons Andrew and David Bolton, her husband, Jon McCaw, her parents, Spencer and Maurine Cromwell, and her sisters, Erin Houston and Courtney Cromwell. Carrie was born on December 18, 1973 in Upland, California. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1992. Carrie studied medical terminology and spent most of her life working in the health care industry as a medical assistant. Carrie was studying to become a nurse when she became ill. Carrie moved to Portland, Oregon in 2005 where she met and married her husband.

Carrie loved her family and friends, and especially her sons, deeply. She was a passionate and courageous woman who was never scared to face any challenge. Carrie inspired everyone who knew her with her immense strength and contagious enthusiasm for life. She will be missed dearly and her loss will be keenly felt by those she left behind.
