Carrie Staylor Miranda, 34, passed away unexpectedly May 18, 2011, in her home in Virginia Beach, VA. She was born September 3, 1976 in Norfolk, VA. She was a bookkeeper and student at the Edgar Cayce Foundation. She is survived by her mother, J.J. Lewis of Virginia Beach, VA; her father, Jack Staylor and his wife Julie of Chesapeake, VA; maternal grandparents, Kay and Stephen Hartnett, Sr. of Florida and Gene Myers of West Virginia; two children, Tori Miranda and Millie Dunbar; and her siblings, Jody Staylor, Christian Staylor, Justin Staylor, Casey Staylor, Steph Watson and Ricky Watson. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel with Rev. Thomas L. Mercer, Sr. officiating. Memorial donations may be made to CHKD. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
