Carrol Patrick LaCour, 94, of Port Neches, Texas entered eternal life, April 27, 2012. He was born March 17, 1918 in Mounton Cove, Louisiana to Sule Ambrose LaCour and Virginia Eveline Quick LaCour. He was a 37 year resident of Port Neches and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Carrol was the Owner of Automatic Door Service for 10 years and retired in 1975 from Pittsburgh Plate Glass with 38 years of service. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Alice Marie Lee LaCour, parents, Sule and Virginia LaCour, sister, Evelyn LaCour Mason, brothers, Webster LaCour and Walton LaCour. Carrol is survived by his 5 daughters, Sr. Carletta LaCour of Houston, Texas; Sr. Thomas Ann LaCour of Plantersville, Texas; Debbie Marie LaCour of Fort Worth, Texas; Stephanie LaCour Brian and husband Patrick of Denham Springs, Texas; Christy LaCour Champagne and husband Jimmy of Port Neches, Texas. His 8 grandchildren and spouses are Aimee Sandifer Gross and Eric, Becky Sandifer Spaller and Patrick, Frank David Sandifer and Suzy, Emily Brian Sullivan and Gary, Lauren Brian Hawkins and Zachary, Courtney, Caitlyn and Melanie Champagne; 7 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Resurrection will be at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches, 2006 Nall, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A Visitation will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Wake Service to begin at 6:30 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.
