Carroll R. "Rick" Conley, age 55, of 9804 Redwood Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 3:30 a.m., on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at his home. Rick was born on September 7, 1955, in Plymouth, to Austin and Carol (Long) Conley. He was a lifetime resident of Plymouth. Rick and the former Kathy Landrie were united in marriage on June 21, 1997, in Plymouth, at the House of Prayer, where he was a member. A proud United States Marine, Rick served his country in Vietnam. He was an enthusiast of NASCAR, and small truck racing was his hobby. He was also a big fan of the Indianapolis Colts. He had been employed as an auto mechanic. Rick's greatest joy was spending special times with his family and his friends. Rick is survived by his wife, Kathy Conley; his father, Austin Conley of Plymouth; his sons, Curtis Long of Plymouth, Christopher Conley of Plymouth, Shawn Conley of Plymouth, and Beau Landrie of Plymouth; his daughters, Lynn Fishburn of Rochester, Indiana, Heather Conley of Plymouth, Dawn Gamble of Plymouth, and Lynn Landrie of Plymouth; his brothers, Jeff (Pam) Stettler of Plymouth, Sam (Naomi) Long of South Bend, Indiana, Allen Conley of Plymouth, and Lonnie Dean Conley of Elkhart, Indiana; his sisters, Sue (Bill) Sullivan of Plymouth, Lisa (Chris) Beer of Milford, Indiana, Lorie Jean Adell of Elkhart, and Ann Marie Conley of Elkhart; and 12 grandchildren. Rick was preceded in death by; Flora Conley, Steven Conley, Carol Conley, Olive Schafer, Art Long, and Raymond Stettler.
