Catherine A. Goosley Victor, 69, of Old Forge, died Saturday at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore after a valiant five battle with cancer. Her devoted husband, of 28 years, John M. Victor, died May 4, 1996. Born in Taylor, on November 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Pepsin Goosley and was a 1960 graduate of Taylor High School. After graduation, Cathy worked for Dunn and Brad Street and retired from Fashion Bug at the Viemont Mall, after twenty years of service. She was a parishioner of the former St. Michael's Church, Old Forge. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, who meant everything to her and brought her so much joy. She looked forward to shopping with her daughters and traveling with her late husband. The Victor Family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Mark Lyons and the entire staff of Hospice Community Care for their understanding and car they gave to Cathy throughout her illness. Also surviving are two daughters, Christine Tansley-Gaul and husband, Thomas Gaul; Karen Fanning and husband, Mark; four grandchildren, Victoria and Taylor Tansley, McKenzie Gaul and Logan Fanning; a brother, Robert Goosely all of Old Forge; a sister- in-law, Rosemary Dunda, Dunmore and a brother-in-law, Reno Bucari, Old Forge. Nephews and Cousins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Michael Goosley and a sister, Madelyn Bucari. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. from the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson St., Duryea. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Old Forge. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
