Catherine Harmening
Catherine H. Harmening, beloved wife of the late George D. Harmening died peacefully December 5.
Previously of Howard County, she moved to Annapolis in 1981. She currently resided at Atria Manresa Assisted Living, where she actively participated on the residents council, as ambassador for new residents and manager of their country store.
Catherine is survived by
her son, Dr. George Harmening; two daughters, Dr. Karen Gonzalez, and Dr. Denise Harmening; five grandchildren, William G. Gonzalez JD, Dr. Mark Gonzalez, Kristin Watts, Bradford and Madison Harmening.; and three great-grandchildren, Owen, Luke and Maria Watts and Reid Gonzalez.
Friends are invited to Catherine's Celebration of Life 6 to 8 p.m.on Thursday December 8 at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 9. Followed by entombment at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Howard County.
