Catherine Lynn Miller, 51, joined our Lord in Savior on November 15, 2010, in Richmond, VA. Born in New London, CT, she was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. She was very active in the Virginia Beach Moose Family Center, Chapter 684. She was a 1977 graduate of First Colonial High School. She was employed at Communique for 13 years before she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She was active in all neighborhood activities as well as arts, crafts, and enjoying life with family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Norman Davis. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Mickel Miller; four children, Shawn White, Jeremy White, Deborah Beckett and husband Dagan and Jackie McClendon and husband Allen; her mother, Jayne Davis; two sisters, Debra Vass and husband Arnold and Teresa Cowan and husband Patrick; two brothers, Danny Davis and Michael Davis and wife Kathryn; a grandson, Jackson McClendon; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brenda and James Buchanan; sister-in-law, Kathy Davenport and husband Michael; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and many extended family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 5 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel with Rev. Melvin Woolard officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and/or VBSPCA. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
