She was a woman of godly character, and she touched many lives with her wisdom and her sense of humor. I loved our phone conversations during the last few years. Catherine lived her faith and was a wonderful role model in her church and community. She will be greatly missed. However, we know she is rejoicing in Heaven.

We loved hearing her stories about her life and struggles and even through everything she remained so steadfast and constant and was a wonderful friend to so many folks. She was a lady full of grace and the love of her God! We share with you in this time of earthly sorrow and missing the presence of such a great person, but we also have to rejoice with her that she is now with God and so many friends and many other of our Mothers who have gone before her even this year. I can't even imagine the reunion happening up there now - and as in our church congregational meetings in the past, Miss Catherine will be in the midst of the whole celebration throwing feathers instead of the pillows she used to fling down here.
