Chad,I am deeply saddened by the choice you have made but I respect it. Up until the past couple of years we had been very close you and I, and I am sorry that we drifted apart. I remember the days when we were inseperable and the crazy situations that always seemed to find us. Sam, Lori and Spring I know that Chad loved you all and spoke of you all in the highest regard. He will be missed greatly. I Love You Chad! Be free and go with God.

Chad and I met on a school bus our Freshmen year of HS and quickly became the best of friends. We lost touch many years ago and I had searched for him, not knowing that he was in fact very close by. I have thought of him and missed him so very much over the years. I just found out about his passing today and am so sorry that I could not be at the services. Chad was an exceptionally special person. He was the friend that would walk for miles so that I didn't have to be alone when house-sitting, the one that stayed on the phone with me until all hours of the morning talking about the teenage version of "the meaning of life", and the one that helped me find my way out of some very dark places when I thought there was no light. I wish I had been able to reconnect with him....I miss him very much. My thoughts and love are with his family....please know that he made a HUGE difference in many lives. He is now and will forever be very much loved.

Chad and I were in the ASL I class together at Austine School, and he and I frequently met together outside of class to practice. I will remember his enthusiasm, his friendliness, his gift for story-telling, and his wonderful laugh. To all his family: Please accept my deepest sympathy. To Chad: You taught me a lesson about friendship that I'll never forget. Be free, and be at peace.

To the Amidon Family, May each of you find comfort in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) Take care,
