Charles "Mikey" High, age 58, of 5824 Michigan Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Michigan City, Indiana. He was born on September 7, 1952, in La Porte, Indiana, to Charles and Barbara (Calhoun) High. Mikey and Carolyn Maxson were married on September 5, 1999, in Plymouth. He worked as a finish carpenter at Majority Builders. Mikey had been a resident of Marshall County since 1970. Mikey is survived by his wife, Carolyn Maxson; his sons, Andrew High of Plymouth, David (Esmeralea) Carroll of Plymouth, Daniel Carroll of Plymouth; his daughters, Gail (Rob) Busam of Plymouth, Sandra Busam and her companion Kristi Stockberger of Rochester, Indiana; his sisters, Terri (John) Flanagan of Plymouth, Elizabeth (Aaron) Bouts of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Ramona (Tim) Mehall of Granger, Indiana; his brothers, Ray Frazier of Mishawaka, Indiana and Kriss High of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Humphrey, who followed him wherever he went.
