Charles " Chuck " Batson, 76, resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 22, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce; son, Jeffrey Batson; daughter, Christine Knorr; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Jordan Batson, and one sister, Doris Snodgrass, of California. Chuck proudly served in the United States Navy, State Department, and 25 years with the Central Intelligence Agency. He was enjoying his retirement in New Mexico. Friends may visit with the Batson family on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas location. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
