Charles Clayton (Yut) Sitlinger, 90, of Lykens Twp/Gratz, PA passed away Tuesday, February 1st, peacefully, at The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg. Charles was born in , Lykens Twp on May 14, 1920, a son of the late Sallie O. (Weiss) and Charles A. Sitlinger. He was the widower of Frances F. (Ferree) Sitlinger. He was a member of Simeons United Lutheran Church Gratz, PA. He worked as a Farmer and truck driver
He served as Lykens Twp Supervisor for 50 years. A life member of the Gratz Fire Co, social member of the Gratz VFW, a memer of the Gratz Antique Tractor Asso, Williamsgrove Steam Engine Asso, Fordson Antique Tractor Asso, and the Nitney Mountain Tractor Asso.
Charles is survived by a daughter, Romaine, wife of Jay Trautman, of Lykens Twp, PA. two sons Celin, husband of Ruth Sitlinger, of Gratz, PA; Gary, husband of Linda Sitlinger, of Hebe, PA; Charles is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. he was preceded in death by his wife Frances (Ferree) Sitlinger, and by one granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Sitlinger.
Friday 6-8PM. at James A. Reed Funeral Home and Saturday 10-11AM. at Simeons United Lutheran Church. Religious Service at Simeons United Lutheran Church, Gratz, PA, at 11AM on Saturday, February 5th, with Rev. Barry Ridge officiating. Interment at Gratz Union Cemetery Graz, PA.
