Charles Edward Johnson, 59, lost his brave battle with cancer December 31, 2010. He was born in Concord, NH, and is survived by his wife, Katherine Ruth Johnson. He was a self-employed HVAC contractor. He is also survived by a daughter, Lisa Ennis and her husband Steve of Rhode Island; four sons, Scott Johnson and wife Beth, Charles Johnson, Ryan Johnson, all of Virginia Beach, VA and Jason Johnson of Florida; sister, Sylvia Barlow; brothers, Steven Johnson and wife Jane of Rhode Island, and William Johnson and wife Sue of Connecticut; along with six grandchildren. He will always be remembered as a truly beloved husband, father, brother and son who was known to all for his kind heart and quick smile. A funeral service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel Monday, January 3, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
