Charles Edwin Poole, Jr

Poole, Charles E. Charles Poole, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 4, 2011. He is survived by loving friends, family and loyal customers. He was the owner of Carpet Cleaning By Charles for over 40 years and took great pride in his profession and workmanship. He graduated from SMU with a degree in accounting and worked in that field for several years before starting his own carpet cleaning business. Charles was a long-time member of the Unitarian Church, a tutor at several Dallas Schools, and a loyal friend. On the back of his pickup truck were written these words: "We are all family: We all have value". Charles lived these words with integrity and honor. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 3:00 p.m. at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with the Revs. Walt and Barbara Marcum presiding.
