Charles Griffin, 79, of Morristown, passed away Friday, September 4th, at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Born in St. Clair, PA on Saturday, September 14, 1929, he was the son of the late Charles Joseph and Helen (Yankowski) Griffin. He was the husband of Joan Louise (Nahas) Grifin. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son David C. and wife Nancy of Harrisburg, PA; son Charles R. and wife Lucia of Morris Plains; daughter Joanne and husband Richard Forcier of Morristown; daughter Nancy and husband Randy Vehslage of Sykesville, MD; sister Dorothy Purcell of Hummelstown, PA; brothers William and Jack of Pottsville, PA, and Thomas of Cass, PA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Institute, 1 Sunset Avenue, Verona, NJ 07044.
