June 28, 1925 – March 22, 2011
Charles Hershel “Huck” Crow 85, of Tuscaloosa formally of Huntsville passed away Tuesday at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Charles is preceded in death by his wife Jenny Beams Crow, infant son Danny Crow, brothers Cecil Crow, Homer Crow and Earl Crow, and also a sister Hazel Parker. Charles served with the Navy in World War II. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal. Charles was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed visiting with his friends and neighbors. Charles spent his last days in Tuscaloosa with his loving family.Charles is survived by a brother Alvin B. Crow and sisters Joy Lentz, Marie Slay and Betty Johnson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friendsVisitation will be Thursday from 1 pm until 2 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Mueller officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
