Charles L. (Chuck) Griffith, 70, Hot Springs Village died Tuesday in Hot Springs. He was born November 8, 1937 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Leroy Griffith and Hazel Winkleman Griffith. He graduated from Cuyahoga Community in Pennsylvania. Chuck was a retired policeman from the Brook Park Police Department with 26 years of service. After his retirement Chuck worked as Director of Security for the International Exposition Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Upon moving to Hot Springs Village he was employed by the Hot Springs Village Police Department as a Public Relations Officer for eight years. He lived in Florida for 4 years, upon returning to Hot Springs Village he then worked as a part time public relations officer. He was a 32nd degree Mason and of Presbyterian faith. Chuck was a United States Air Force veteran and member of Pennsylvania National Guard.

Memorial service 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2008, CedarVale Chapel, Reverend Jeff Cranton officiating.

Memorials to American Lung Society, in lieu of flowers.
