CHARLES L. PIERSON
91 Of Lawrence passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012. He was born in Indianapolis on June 12, 1921 and lived here his entire life. He served in the US Army during WWII in the European Theatre with General Patton. He was a member of the VFW Post 261, the American Legion Post 495 and the Veterans Memorial Chapel. He is preceded in death by his wife, Caroline, daughter Sara A. Morrett and sister, Margaret Wagner. He is survived by his two daughters, Sheila Patterson and Denise (Randy) Davis, brother, Richard Roberts, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center. Interment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
