Charles R. Sears, 60, originally of Monroe Twp, NJ, passed peacefully Friday, August 13th at Princeton Medical Center. Charlie attended Hightstown High School, the Valley Forge Military Academy and Centenary College of Louisiana. He lived for many years in Hightstown, New Egypt and most recently resided in White Hall Township in the Poconos. Charlie worked in the central NJ area as a contractor and roofer, and owned Allied Roofing and Home Improvements of Hightstown. He was predeceased by his father Henry Sears and his step-father Nicholas Kittstein. Charlie is survived by his mother, Janet Kittstein of Monroe; a son, Timothy Sears of Texas; his aunts, Irene Punk of Robbinsville and Carol Michnisky of East Windsor; his step sisters Susan Hayward, Diane Prusarczyk and Marie Kuchnicki; and extended family and friends. The funeral will begin 9:30am Wednesday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave, Hightstown, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown, NJ. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ.
