Charles Richard Young, 64 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at his home.
He was born on September 18, 1946 in Magnolia to the late Clifton Andrew and Sylvia Irene (Cheatham) Young. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army where he was an expert rifleman and a Military Policeman, and a member of the Antioch East Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Patrick Young.
Charles is survived by his wife, Cathy Young; daughter, Tracy Thompson; sons, Tim Young and wife Jennifer, and Jeff Young, Sr. all of Magnolia; a brother, Troy Young and wife Leah of Montgomery, Texas; sister Barbara Smith and husband Clyde of Village, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Teagan Young, Peyton Thompson, Taryn Young, Jeff Young, Jr., and Thatcher Young all of Magnolia; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Elvis Griffin officiating. An online guest book is available at www.lewisfuneralhome.biz
