SYKES, Charles Russell, Jr. “Russ”, June 30, 2011, age 28 of White House. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Raney, Frank and Lucille Sykes. Survived by his parents, Charles Sykes and June Sykes; wife, Anne-Marie Neal Sykes; sons, Tre’ and Trenton Sykes; grandmother, Marilyn Raney; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Russ was a 2001 graduate of White House High School, graduated from Volunteer State Community College, and worked in the finance and administration office for the State of Tennessee. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, White House on Tuesday from 2-8 pm, and on Wednesday from 10 am until 1:30 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 3pm at White House First United Methodist Church with Bro. Kris Freeman and Rev. Phillip Wright, officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Coble, Adam Ahmic, Chris Tracy, and Robert May. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been established for Tre’ and Trenton at any Region’s Bank.
