Charles N. Smith, 70, of Pleasant Valley, Missouri, passed away June 25, 2009.
Mr. Smith retired in 2001 from the Sika Corporation as a Tool & Die Operator. He had also been a Parts Manager in the automotive industry.
He enjoyed garage sales and excursions around town with his “traveling companion”, Nickey.
Charles was member of the St. Stephen Lutheran Church.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents Solon M. and Virginia Newcomb Smith, and a sister, Nancy Anello.
Charles is survived by his wife, Linda Smith; daughters and son-in-law, Tonya & Mark Shaw of Highland Village, Texas, and Krista Smith of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; mother & father-in-law, Herman and Florence Walters of Liberty, Missouri; brother-in-law & his wife, Robert & Jayne Walters; grandchildren, Abby Shaw, Owen Shaw, and Austin Edwards; nieces and nephews, Paul and Laura Anello, JoAnna Ferguson, David Walters and their families.
The family suggests contributions to Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64137.
