Mr. Charles W. "Chuck" Anderson

Charles W. (Chuck) Anderson passed away in Las Vegas on June 11th, 2011 after a brief illness. He was 80 yrs old. After graduating from Moline High School in Moline, Ill., he attended Moline Community College and eventually joined the Air Force and earned his pilots wings on December 16th, 1952. He saw active duty in the Korean War, receiving several commendations for courage and devotion to duty. He rose to the rank of 1st Lieutenant and was honorably discharged in 1955. Following his discharge, he went to work with Trans World Airlines (TWA) where he was a highly respected pilot for 33 yrs. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Gladys Anderson of Moline, Ill. and his beloved wife Bonnie from Liberty, Mo. He is survived by his son C. Mike Anderson, Las Vegas, his daughter Susan (Susie) Anderson of Tucson, AZ and sister in law Donna and husband Raymond Herrera of Santa Barbra, CA.
