Charles Ware, 81, of Cottonwood died December 14, 2011. He was born February 10, 1930 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Jim and Mary Ware. He served his country in the military, and then later worked for Phoenix Cement for 15 years. He was a member of Verde Baptist Church and he loved spending time with people over lunch or a cup of coffee. He also enjoyed traveling all across our country. Mr. Ware is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie; his son, Charles (Sue Ellen) of Huntsville, AL; his daughters, Kathy Ware, Nancy Ware and Cindy (Mark) Millar, all of Cottonwood; nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Verde Baptist Church, 102 S. Willard St. in Cottonwood on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Contributions in his name may be made to Verde Valley Christian School, located at 102 S. Willard St. Cottonwood, AZ 86326. An online memorial guestbook is available at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
