Charles W. Ross
Easley, SC

Charles William Ross, 81, of 518 Rolling Hills Circle, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012.

Born in Conestee, he was the son of the late Charlie and Bertha Chandler Ross.

Mr. Ross was retired from General Electric Gas Turbines. He was a Captain with American Security and was a member of Conestee Assembly Church of God where he was a Deacon.

Surviving is his wife of the home, Betty Harrison Ross; a daughter, Patricia A. Ross of Easley; a daughter-in-law, Janet Ross of Easley; a grandson, Charles J. Griswold (Lynn); his great grandson and his pride and joy, Charles A. Griswold; a granddaughter, Kennedy Rogers; a sister, Betty Turney (Bill) of Biloxi, MS; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Steve Ross and a sister, Bobbie R. Barbery.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with burial to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home.
