Charles William "Bogie" Wilson August 6, 1960 ~ May 31, 2011 Graveside services for Charles William "Bogie" Wilson, are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Pavilion at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville with Rev. Kenneth Klimple officiating. Interment will follow. Bogie died in Harlingen, Texas, Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Bogie was born August 6, 1960 in Brenham, the son of Janie Mae and C. W. "Buddy" Wilson. He graduated from Somerville High School and served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his mother; his sister-in-law, Kathy Lou Leasure, numerous aunts and uncles and other relatives. Survivors include his father and stepmother, C.W. "Buddy" and Jackie Wilson of Lyons; his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Clifford Hilliard of Wolfforth, Texas; his children, Christopher Jerome "C.J." Wilson, Christina Hodges and Janie D. Wilson; his wife, Lee Bryant; his stepsisters and brothers, Kathy and Sam La Barbera, Kandi and John Childers, Kevin and Dana Leasure, Keith Leasure several grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives including many nieces and nephews. Family members have requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Bogie's name be made to Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville to help with funeral expenses. Serving as pallbearers are: Ronnie Faust, Donnie Faust, Keith Leasure, Eric Kline, Delbert Faust, Howard Faust, David Faust, and C. J. Wilson. Acting as honorary pallbearer is Ronnie Leasure.
