Charlina Nanatte Graham, 29, Kokomo, passed away at 8:31 A.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2011, in her home. She was born September 26, 1981 in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Mickey Ray Swimburne Jr., and Sheila (Sharp) Bly. Charlina graduated from Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Texas and went on to marry Caleb A. Graham on October 20, 2000. He survives.
Charlina loved unconditionally. She was an amazing wife, great cook, and a perfect mother. She always gave generously without any second thoughts, helping many local organizations such as United Way, and the Humane Society. She worked at, and co-owned “Grand Paw’s,” where she greeted every patron and their pets with a smile. She had such a great love of people, and always put her family and others before herself.

Graham, and children Cameron Austin Graham, Lillian Nichole Graham, and Annelise Rennee Graham all of Kokomo, her father Mickey Ray Swimburne Jr. of Dallas, Texas, her mother Sheila Bly of Grapevine, Texas, her brothers Micky Ray “Tray” (Karla) Swimburne III of Springtown, Texas, and Cristopher James Mullins of Grapevine, Texas, her grandparents Wilma Hanks McMillien, Margaret (Richard) Gibson, and Jeanette Prather, and great grandmother Effie Hanks. Other survivors include Charlina’s mother and father-in-law Kenneth and Joyce Graham Jr. of Windfall, brother and sister-in-laws Kent (Kyong-ok) McCorkle of Sacramento, California, Erik Graham of Dallas, Texas, Joy (Danny) Rogers with their children Audra and Austin all of Windfall, and Kristen (Donny) Clark of Kokomo, aunts and uncles Sherri (Zearl) Gilbreath, Recea (Floyd) Miller, Danny Sharp, Ronny Sharp, Scott McMillien, Janet Vogel, Rick Gibson, Jina (Dana) Growden, Mike (Carol) Gibson, Jerry (Susan) Smith, and Robert (Gayle) Prather, along with many great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special pets such as Heze and friends.
Charlina was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Margaret Ann Gibson-Esterly, uncle Ricky Sharp, grandparents Joseph Thomas McMillien, Kenneth (Lilly) Graham Sr., and Robert Prather, and great gradfather J.P. Hanks.
Charlina’s family will be receiving friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, Kokomo, IN. There will be a funeral service immediately following the visitation at 1:00 P.M. also at the mortuary with Pastor Patrick Bousum officiating. Burial will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
