My mother would respond "Oh, yes" and to let them know that she truly remembered them would recall a story about that person.

She was a fine lady as was evidenced by her appearance and demeanor. She was organized and planned ahead to ensure she met her obligations. Her home was immaculate.

She remembered every snowflake that fell for the last 55 years, as well as every birthday, anniversary, graduation, or special occasion and let each family member or friend know that she was thinking of them. She added her "special touches" to every occasion.

I cannot fully express in this message what she meant to me.

I love you, Mother, and will miss you until we meet again.

It was such a pleasure to work with Charlotte at Hodgin Elementary. She could tell you every fact and event that happened today or 30 years ago. I remember having teacher potlucks at school and Charlotte would make little baby grill cheese sandwiches. I will truly miss her wonderful stories and great sandwiches. Charlotte was a beautiful person. I loved her special treats. I can't remember what she called them, but they were delicious and very time consuming for her to make. I will treasure our ADK memories of a "sister" not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside too. She made each of her "sisters" a beautiful lavendar sachet. Mine hangs in my closet. Lavendar scents will always bring fond memories of Charlotte. I will keep her and her family in my prayers. I loved her very much and miss her greatly.

I have memories of Aunt Charlotte that span most of my 50 years, from us kids getting on a plane in LA for a week's vacation in Albuquerque to more recent visits by Charlotte out to California to see Brian. It's been great to have Charlotte in our lives and we will miss her greatly.

Our family was sad to hear of Charlotte's passing. I have fond memories of Charlotte coming to our wedding in San Francisco, and also visiting her in Albuquerque. Her Christmas card was always one of the first we would receive, always with a personalized note included. We send our love and sympathy to the entire family, and will keep you all in our prayers.
