Charlotte M. Krout, 63, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday February 4, 2022 at La Porte Hospital. She was born July 26, 1947 in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of Ernest Dunn and Lillian (Judd) Dunn Pumroy. She is survived by her spouse, Frank Reed of LaPorte; six children, Ann (Phillip) Helvie, James Krout both of Fort Wayne, Rebecca Krout, Jason Krout both of La Porte, Russell Krout of VA, David (Colleen) Krout of SC; thirty grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers Ernest Dunn of SC, and Timothy Dunn of La Porte. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 12:00 pm, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday February 10, 2011 at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
