Charlotte M. Trumbley, age 90, of Bethany, passed away on December 23, 2011. Charlotte was the widow of George Trumbley, Sr. Born in Orange, CT on February 23, 1921; she was a daughter of the late Frederick & Wilhelmina Marshall Wooster. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cahoon & her husband Steven of Bethany and her sons, George L. Trumbley, Jr & his wife Linda of Bethany & Thomas W. Trumbley & his wife Kathy of Oxford; her sister Barbara Johnson & her husband Norman of Sharon; 7 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren. Charlotte was predeceased by her brothers, Frank & George Wooster. Being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother was one of the most dearing and valued aspects of Charlotte's life. They were a cherished part of her life that will be missed but never forgotten by her and them as well. Friends may visit with her family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Tuesday Dec. 27, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held that evening at 7:30 PM in the funeral home. Friends may also attend her Graveside Service on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Milfordside Cemetery, Race Brook Road, Woodbridge.
