Kilpatric, Charlotte Ovella, 81, Charlotte met her maker after a long and blessed life on December 13, 2011. She is survived by Bill, her husband of 59 years and children Michael (Valerie) Kilpatric of Denver, CO; Billy (Joni) Kilpatric of Hampton, VA; David (Thea) Kilpatric of Rose Hill, KS; and Donna Robinson of Wichita, KS. Charlotte was born near Ropesville, TX on June 14, 1930. She married Bill in September 1952 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Bill was in the USAF and they traveled to various locations within the continental US. After 27 years (1973), Bill retired from the Air Force and they returned to Wichita to be nearer to their children. Charlotte worked for the McConnell AFB, Credit Union and other various bank institutions. In 1991, Bill and Charlotte both retired and then traveled the US in their motor home. They enjoyed bowling, shopping, fishing and spending time with their family and friends. Charlotte and Bill attended the annual family reunion in Texas and throughly enjoyed life and being with eachother. She and Bill attended Christ Community Church in Wichita KS. Her family includes 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grand children. She is also survived by her siblings, brothers, Paul ( suanne) Brown of Abilene, TX. ; Lloyd (Gina) Brown of Weatherford, TX. and sister Marnell (Eston) Shelnutt of Clyde, TX. and is preceded in death by a granddaughter , Jennifer Kilpatric of Sacramento, CA. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15 from 6 -8 pm, funeral will be Friday, December 16 at 2 pm, both at Lakeview Funeral Home.
