Charlotte Symonia Covert, age 60, of Vilonia,Arkansas, formerly of Manila, died Saturday at her home. Born at Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Regina Sammons Northington. She was raised in Manila, was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 brother, Bobby Northington.
Mrs. Covert's survivors include her husband, Issac Edgar Covert of the home, her son Richard Allen Covert of Jacksonville, Florida and two daughters, Tracey Lynne Dunna of Atlanta, Georgia and Elizabeth Anne Yahn of Vilonia, Arkansas.
She also leaves 1 brother, Dickey Northington of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, 1 sister, Nancy Davison of Blytheville, Arkansas. Mrs. Covert also leaves her grandchildren, Catherine Yahn, Kyle Yahn, Priya Dunna, Arun Dunna and Nikhil Dunna.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
