Cheri Ann Tilford was born March 6, 1962, and passed from this Life on earth to be with her Lord on November 5, 2009.
Ms. Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Leroy Smith; her sister, Dorothy Smith; and her brother, Jimmy Smith.
Cheri was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, G.W.; her children, Kandi Cole-McClellan and Jacob Tilford; and her grandson, Clayton Cole.
Ms. Cheri’s compassion often allowed strangers to find comfort in talking with her. She lived her life in fast forward, and chose the Biker World for Love and Freedom.
Imagine Ms Cheri (PTOL) trying to out-run Jesus on a Golden Harley on the Highway to Heaven.

There was only one CHERI. I remember the first time I met her. It was my Aunt Kathy Raley reincarnated. we lost Kathy in August of 2000 due to a heart attache after delivering her granddaughter. She was 45 years young. There was so much that I never dreamed of missing about my favorite aunt until the day that God brought into my life the one and only CHERI which was almost exactly like the one & only aunt that was so redneck, kool, different & very unique,I guess youd say she was the blk sheep of the family but most of all she was Kathy ,one that loved life , loved the freedom of the open road on her Bike, as much as her husband, daughters & g-children like Cheri did. she was always talking of them no matter the mood she was in, she was CHERI , never left unspoken. I had actually met another person just like the one that if you didnt know her well u might just not have really known how 2 take her but if u were one of the lucky ones u had a friendship & relationship with one of the most real people that ever lived. Cheri was nothing but " GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES " when we were together. she taught me how to deal with life daily n if that day wasnt good enough theres another one comming. I loved Cheri & she was always a great inspiration in my daughters & my life n we r going to miss her riding up on her freedom angel or her caddy . She was who she was and didnt want to be anyone elese . Thank you for the few short years that we became to feel like a sister & A GREAT FRIEND and nieces. And thank you Lord for taking my friend and forgiving her for she was a sinner may she have all the freedom with you lord to ride in peace & free with all your riding angels. Amen. we love n miss you Cheri you were our one of a kind.

Kandi, the loss of a loved one must be very difficult - especially your mother. The strength you've shown in taking on both your son and young brother is a beautiful testiment to who you are as a young woman. I am very sorry for your loss and wish you and your family all the best in this challenging time. Here if you need me, Michelle
