Cheryl Heifner Craig, age 50, of Hatfield, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her home.
She was born October 9, 1962 in St. Augustine, Florida to the late Frankie Heifner and to Margie Hammond Heifner. She was united in marriage to the true love in her life, Jamie Craig. She was a construction worker by trade and was also a truck driver. Cheryl was of the Baptist faith and loved her life. She was a free spirit, and was spunky, funny, loud and unpredictable. She had a joyful soul. You could always count on her to be "just Cheryl", loving life in general, and her vast family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by:
Mother: Margie Heifner of Hatfield, Arkansas
Daughter and son in Law: Jamie Lynn Romine and Jeff Cude of Hatfield, Arkansas
Grandson: Clayton Lynn Cude of Hatfield, Arkansas
Husband: Jamie Craig of Hatfield, Arkansas
Sisters: Lori Daves of Conway, Arkansas
Rhonda Goss and husband Rick of Mena, Arkansas
Brother: Gary Heifner and wife Rosa of Conway, Arkansas
Step-Sons: Jeremy Craig of Grannis, Arkansas and Justin Craig of Horatio, Arkansas
Step-Granddaughter: Lidia Craig of Horatio, Arkansas
Grandfather: Frank Heifner of Cove, Arkansas
Mother & Father-In –Law: Deanna and James "Mack" McNully of DeQueen, Arkansas
Father-in-Law: James Craig of Hatfield, Arkansas
Very Special Friend: Wanda Fairless of Zafra, Oklahoma
And several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Frankie "Spanky" Heifner, maternal grandparents, Homer and Georgia Hammond, paternal grandmother, Pauline Heifner Richardson and 2 very special uncles, Ronnie and Jerry Heifner.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hatfield Gymnasium Auditorium with Brother Donnie Jewell officiating. Interment follows in Gann Cemetery in Potter under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday evening, February 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Goodner, Douglas Turner, Jim Elliott, Pete Fairless, Waylon Fairless, and Greg Cunningham.
