Eudy, Chester "Chet" L., of Wichita, KS, passed away, November 27, 2011. He was born July 12, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK. Chet was married to his loving wife Janice for 49 years, was an avid Oklahoma Sooner football fan, member of the Wichita Sooner Club and an insurance agent for Bankers Life and Casualty for 42 years. Chet was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. Chet was also known to be the best "Pappy" with great love for his 3 granddaughters and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Eudy and Delilah Speer. Chet is survived by wife, Janice of Wichita; daughters, Daphne "DeDe" Eudy of Wichita and Dana Engel (Will) of Wichita; brother, Marty Speer (Norma) of Folsom, CA; sister, Debbie Howerton of Oklahoma City, OK; granddaughters, Kassie McClure, Madison Eudy and Khloe Engel, all of Wichita, KS; great-granddaughter, Kaitlynn Irvin of Wichita, KS. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. with family present; with Funeral service to follow on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 P.M., both at Lakeview Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, 818 North Emporia, Suite 100, Wichita, KS 67214.
