Christine M. Gasparino, 28, of Simsbury and Windsor, beloved daughter of John and Lisa (Pelletier) Gasparino, and loving fiancee of Bruce J. Banning, passed away Friday (July 14, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. Christine was born in Hartford, and lived in Windsor most of her life, attended Windsor Schools and Sage Park Middle School, and graduated in 1995 from East Catholic High School, Manchester. She received her B.A. Degree in Education and Natural Sciences in 1999 from St. Joseph’s College, West Hartford, and was working on her Masters Degree at CCSU in New Britain. Christine was a seventh grade science teacher at Sage Park Middle School in Windsor for the past seven years, was a former soccer coach at the school and worked on The River to Sea Program at several Hartford area schools. Christine and Bruce were planning their wedding on August 19, 2006 at Ile d’ Orleans in Quebec, Canada. Besides her parents and fiancé, she leaves her beloved brother, Daniel Gasparino of Suffield; her maternal grandparents, Pauline and Edgar Joseph Pelletier of Vernon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her Diesel, Napoleon, Otta, Little Kitty, Peaches, Deedee, Mr. Iguana and fishes, and all her dear friends and students. A special thank you to the Simsbury Police Department and Simsbury Ambulance, the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hartford Hospital ICU, and for all the prayers from our family and friends.
