Cindy L. Williams Cindy Lee Williams, age 56, of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on May 20, 1957, she was the daughter of Jennie Clark Brackins and the late James Brackins. Mrs. Williams had been the bookkeeper/manager and administrative assistant for Litzenberg Insurance, as well as the owner/operator of the Victorian Rose Gift Shop. She was a member of Elkton United Methodist Church, and life member and past secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 8175, Elkton. Mrs. Williams loved the beach, decorating her Victorian home, and cooking for everyone on the holidays. Always full of life and with a smile on her face, she was a blessing to all and opened her heart and home to everyone, especially those in need. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 23 years, Larry D. Williams; children, Richard, April Lynn, Melissa and John; grandchildren, Anthony William, Jeffrey Tyler, Katelyn Noelle, Josie, Lydia, Owen, Hannah Joy, Laura, Chase and Courtney; and brother, James. In addition to her father, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her siblings, Nancy and Floyd; and her step-son, Jason. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD 21921, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the service in Principio Cemetery, Principio, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Union Hospital Foundation to support the Union Hospital Cancer Center, in care of the funeral home.
