Claire Patricia Merz (nee Carrig), 77, of Guttenberg NJ passed away on Friday January 28, 2011. Born in Hoboken she was a retired switchboard operator for Miller Roll Clothing Co. in New York City. She belonged to the St John Nepomucene Rosary Society, The Catholic Daughters of America and the Mosse Lodge # 848 in North Bergen. Beloved wife of Charles F. Merz. Devoted step mother of Charles F. Merz Jr., Joan Zarra and Brenda Pohan.
