CLARA C. REALMUTO
Mrs. Clara C. Realmuto, 78, died September 16, 2009 at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

She was born in New York, New York and lived in Vero Beach for 21 years coming from Deer Park, New York.

She was a 1951 graduate of Roosevelt Hospital Nursing School and worked as a registered nurse for many years at Florida Baptist Retirement Center and Royal Palm Convalescent Center.

She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach, where she was an Extraordinary Minister and C.A.R.E. Class leader. She also taught a Certified Nursing Assistant Program for adult education for Indian River School District.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Sal Realmuto of Vero Beach, sons, Michael Realmuto of Palm Bay, Thomas Realmuto of Vero Beach, Richard Realmuto of Commack, NY, sister, Barbara Schwam of Houston, TX and 2 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to ARC of Indian River County, 1375 16th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960, in Mrs. Realmuto's memory.

SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM on September 22, 2009 at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach. Visitation will be 2-5 pm on September 20, 2009 and 5-8 pm on September 21, 2009 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
