Clarence A. "Hank" Hancock, 89 of Winter Park, passed away on November 11, 2011. He was born on November 9, 1922 in Bithlo, FL to Durham and Leta Hancock. Hank attended Orlando High School. He served with the Navy during WWII as an aviation metalsmith first class and then started work as an auto mechanic. Hank later worked as an electrician with P & L Construction and then Behe & Umholtz Electrical Contractors which then became Florida Industrial Electric where he retired in 2000. Hank enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid vegetable gardener. He also enjoyed square dancing, NASCAR, and Gator Football. He is preceded in death by his wife Beulah "Boots" Hancock; He is survived by his loving daughter Deborah Rowe (Gus); brother-in-law Joseph Augenblick II (Madeline); nephews Joseph Augenblick III and John Augenblick (Elsie); and neighbors Tony Roberts and Rudi Jessee. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Conway Lakes Rehab, Manie at Manie's Comforting Care and Kethline and Monique who took such wonderful care of Hank.
