Clarence Denver Harvey, age 94 of Dunedin, Florida passed away Thursday November 17, 2011. He was born on September 5, 1917 to Clarence and Margarette Harvey in Clarksville (Cumberland County), TN where he attended Louise school. As a child, he was nicknamed "Bo" because he walked a bit bow-legged. But he was affectionately called "Bud" by his beloved wife, Mary. He served in the US Army during WWII even though he was color blind. He guarded POWs and worked construction on airplane runways . Later, he retired from Chrysler Corp. as a forklift driver in Perrysburg, Ohio and lived in Allen Park, MI for many years. He moved to Florida in the late 60's to Top of the World in Clearwater and then to The Villas of Lake Arbor on Lakeview Drive. He loved his '91 Oldsmobile and feeding the squirrels. He was a warm, friendly, mild-mannered gentleman and never lost his Southern accent. He was also one-eighth Cherokee Indian. He was preceded in death by his parents; older sister, Pauline M. Harvey (Morrow); younger sister, Clara Allene Harvey (Morrow) and his dear wife, Mary Agnes Harvey who passed away March 18, 2010. He is survived by his sister Allene and Leamon's children, Marilyn D. Morrow (Bishop) and Brian L. Morrow; cousins ( by marriage): Paul Perry and James Perry.
